POSITION DESCRIPTION


Accountable for the following:
  1. Conduct sensitivities and numerical analyses of commercial terms in support of commercial strategies and plans
  2. Support with developing legal and contractual frameworks for the specific opportunities with due attention to value, risk and trends
  3. Ensure that specialists are involved in a structured manner in the development and conclusion of agreements
  4. Maintain detailed knowledge of Addax’ upstream petroleum agreements
  5. Keep abreast of international developments in agreement standards and models


POSITION REQUIREMENTS


  1. Demonstrated good understanding of E&P Industry (e.g. 5 to 10 years’ experience in e.g. G&G, Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Business Development)
  2. Working understanding of Petroleum and Contracts Economics
  3. Strong commercial acumen with bottom line focus
  4. Good interpersonal skills to network across internal business functions and manage external relations
  5. Fluent in English
  6. Good team player and self-starter
