COUNTRY MANAGER
IN ONE OF ITS FRENCH WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES;

Who would report to the Managing Director and be responsible for:

• Establishing strategic development plans in accordance with the sales and customer development strategy of the region
• Working with the Brand Building (Marketing) Managers to deliver activity plan OTIF 
• Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders of the country
• Giving customer input in sales and operations planning process
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the country, and provide input to support the leadership team to formulate the Company strategy
• Leading all the efforts/initiatives to develop the targeted customers and partners 
• Ensuring that financial, operating, marketing and technical functions cooperate closely to achieve business targets and maximum return
• Leading competition intelligence.

The Country Manager must:

• Have a minimum of a University degree in Sales or Marketing, Strong business development and sales experience
• 5 years + experience in Sales and Marketing management, ideally in a FMCG environment (3 years of which should be in a senior management role)
• 35 years maximum 
• Experienced in developing business and closing sales in West Africa 
• Proven track record in increasing sales revenues 
• Fluent in both English & French language
• Be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
